More Bar Promotions!

Tag Team Texas Hold 'Em
The poker renaissance is going stronger than ever, having caught on with more and more people in the last few years. Texas Hold 'Em is, perhaps, the most popular version. But even for diehards, sitting at a table all night playing cards can get old.

Tag Team poker allows guests to sign up for a game without committing to sit at one table the whole evening. One member of the two-person team sits and plays for 15 minutes, and then the partners switch. Jillian's in Westbury, N.Y., found big profits with this one. Beginners like it because they can get advice from a better player, and players buy more drinks during their 15-minute breaks.

Cell Phone Races
It seems everyone's got one. Here's a great way to create excitement and get your patrons interacting instead of talking on their cell phones.Place cell phones on a slanted plywood board, or some other material that has some play in it. Set the ringer on each of the phones to "vibrate." Have your patrons use other people's cell phones to call their cell phones. First one to vibrate off the board and slide down into a pillow wins.
